After she was initially designed by Iza-Pug, I took her and modified her design to be more of a "furry" appearance.

I never thought I'd connect with a character so much that it would become my 2nd sona, but there's just something about her that clicks with me. She just feels like me. Someday I hope to make her into a suit, and I can't wait till that time finally comes. I'm so happy to have a clouded leopard sona at long last. My favorite animal. ^_^

As a character, Kashika (Kashi, for short) is an art-driven feline who absolutely loves to swim and fly! She also tends to collect oddities she finds in nature, such as oddly shaped rocks or uniquely colored plants.
Her home is absolutely covered in plants of all shapes and sizes.

Origin and Info

Kashika as a character has really started to bloom into something special.
As soon as IzaPug designed her, and I modified her to better suit my tastes I absolutely fell in love with her character. She’s a jaquin, which are a species from Disney’s Elana of Avalor. Such an underrated gem of a show honestly! There’s so much about it that I love, and the jaquins especially are so cool and unique!

Clouded leopards have always been a love of mine, and Kashika really lets me release a part of my personality that Winza just can’t. She’s the zainy, silly character in me. Loves making others laugh and is extra in literally EVERYTHING she does.

Cannonically, I imagine Kashika lives in the same world as the other Jaquins. She visits Avalor from time to time, but spends most of her days flying around her homeland of Vallestrella.

She’s very curious by nature, and often seeks out adventures or things she’s never seen before. Always one for a fun challenge, or solving ancient puzzles.

Her biggest flaw is that she’s sometimes afraid to speak her mind. She would rather hold her tongue to avoid confrontation, rather than say something and have it end up in a fight. She’s definitely more of a lover than a fighter.

Fursuit Info

I connected so much with Kashika, that within the first month of her conception I immediately set to work creating her fursuit.

And it wasn’t just a head, or a partial. Nah, I’m extra. So I went full digigrade with her!

Her head was built on a 3D printed base by NukeCreations, and then I modified the shape using foam.

Her whiskers were from StuffedPandaStudios.

Her hand paws were a 5-finger pattern I purchased from Kloofsuits and modified to be larger and more grubby.

Everything else was made from my own patterns (many of which are available in my shop) ;)

Her legs are fully lined with removable padding zippers, and she even has hidden pockets in her markings that I can access with ease!

All her teeny tiny spots were printed on a patterned fabric I purchased from BigZFabric a while ago, specifically to use on her suit.
